Jenson Fisher are delighted to be supporting an innovative, dynamic and forward thinking employer based in Rosyth to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent, full time basis. You will work in a stand alone role managing all daily transactions within the business alongside monthly reporting to the Senior Management Team therefore it is essential that you have strong, hands-on experience in a similar position. In addition you will consider yourself detail focussed and accurate in all that you do as well as being a strong user of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
  • Handling of accounts payable including reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
  • Sales ledger through to credit control via telephone and letter.
  • Bookkeeping to trial balance stage on a monthly basis.
  • Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Collation of time and attendance for payroll purposes.
As well as being an excellent Bookkeeper, it is crucial that you possess first class communication skills alongside an ability to interact with stakeholders across various departments within the business. You will be entrusted to work using your own initiative in a mature and autonomous environment therefore it is pivotal that you are confident in your experience.
