Graduate Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Project Engineer has become available to join a Maritime Industry Specialist located near Dunfermline, Scotland. Working on Engineering projects you will be part of the Project Department carrying out commercial and technical duties from project planning to closeout whilst working closely with a senior team member. You will be joining a company who has an impressive history and an impressive portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings, manuals and reports in line with a training plan.
• Build knowledge and understanding of the company’s full product.
• Build knowledge of Project Management principles.
• Work closely with senior team members.
• Carry out assigned tasks, working to deadlines.
• Assist with development and implementation of project management policies.
• Identify and address project issues.
• Analyse project outcomes and feedback.
• Lead initial project scoping stage.
• Oversee financial aspects of projects.
• Maintain clear and affective communication throughout the project.

Essential: 

• Must have an Engineering Degree/ background in Mechanical Engineering. 
• Demonstrable Project Management experience. 

Beneficial: 

• Maritime Industry experience. 

Salary:

• Circa £30K
