Fixed Wire Test Engineer - Dunfermline / Fife / Cupar

Join a leading provider in Hygiene Services, as they expand their team. Our client is seeking experienced Electricians who are enthusiastic and eager to contribute to a high-performing engineering team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct Inspecting & Testing on customer’s electrical installations (EICRs), including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
  • Complete all relevant reports and certification using cloud-based certification software, ensuring all documentation is submitted on time.
  • Perform LED lighting replacements both during and outside of regular hours, adhering to the project schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening shifts as needed.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across ROI and occasionally stay overnight.
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less.
  • SVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification OR equivalent Level 3 NVQ.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition, 2391/2394 & 2395 qualifications.
  • AM2 or equivalent, IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Proven experience in an electrical testing environment and electrical installation/project work, especially in commercial lighting replacements.
  • Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations.
