2020 Recruitment are working with a Fife based engineering client who are looking to add an Approved Electrician to their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to work on various sites across Scotland providing technical solutions and installations on behalf of our client.

Our client will provide all the necessary training and development as they look to invest in their people at all times.

The Role

As the Approved Electrician, you will be working as part of a larger team visiting sites across Scotland to install, repair and offer your professional service to customers from the utilities, engineering and manufacturing sectors.

This is a Monday to Friday 40 hours per week role with the majority of your time spent away from home but you will always be returning on a Friday at the latest.

Our client believes in giving their team the best comforts when working away and will always aim to book single rooms within hotels with a generous food allowance each day.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Approved Electrician your duties will include the following:

Installing various equipment and instruments throughout Scotland

Working closely with clients to help identify and resolve any issues

Completing all relevant paperwork and checks

Provide detailed report to clients

Deliver the highest level of customer service and care to clients

Learning and understanding the benefits and use of company products

Requirements

To be considered for the Approved Electrician you must have the following experience:

You must be a time served Approved Electrician/Electrical Engineer

ECS is essential

Full UK drivers licence with no more than 3 points

Health & Safety awareness

Willingness to work away as and when required

Team player with the right attitude

Utilities experience would be an advantage

EUSR/DOMS qualified or willing to be put through this by the company

Confined Space Trained would be an advantage
