An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of Reeds Dunfermline based clients. The business are established brand that is known across the UK, Europe and Worldwide for their high-quality maintenance and repair products and its outstanding customer service. Reed are looking for a pro-active, target driven individual to join us for the following position:

Role- Retention/Sales Executive

Location- Dunfermline

Salary- £23,000 + bonus

The basic purpose of the position is to maintain, develop and expand the level of sales within the current portfolio of customers whilst attracting new customers and achieving monthly targets.

The attributes of the individual our client are looking for:

  • Effective communication skills
  • The ability to identify buying signals and sell products on their features and benefits 
  • Work under their own autonomy whilst using initiative
  • Motivated target achiever
  • Previous experience in a technical telesales role, ideal but not essential
  • Ability to build and develop customer relationships
  • Work closely in a team with some cross-departmental functions
  • Always looking to train and develop skills

The duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain a healthy growth in sales and achieve monthly sales targets
  • Customer retention
  • Inbound and outbound call handling 
  • Contact the existing portfolio of customer on a regular basis by phone and email
  • Dealing with (and following up on) phone / online sales enquiries
  • Maintain a healthy margin for profitability
  • Ensure customer records are accurate and up to date in CRM to develop sales
  • Process sales orders and create new accounts on the system
  • Assist in resolving customer queries or complaints, aiming for first time resolution to ensure a high-quality customer service.
  • Administration support in customer services when required
  • Ensure all requirements of KENT’s quality assurance are fully observed/maintained
  • Assist in the collection of customer account balances when required
  • Work towards and achieve KPIs
