Description

  • Build strong relationships with people managers at all levels supporting them to effectively and appropriately manage their teams.
  • Drive best practice at each stage of the employee journey to ensure positive engagement and people experience.
  • Adopt a business partnering mindset to contribute to the business objectives and ensure the delivery of HR service supports the business needs.
  • Lead on employee relations matters, partnering with managers to ensure consistency, equality, and fairness.
  • Directly line manage and develop the operational HR team ensuring their training and development needs are met through regular one-to-one meetings and coaching.
  • Proactively review people policies and recommend changes to both maintain legal compliance and enhance the employee experience.
  • Manage HR resources efficiently to ensure matters are dealt with in a timely manner while also encouraging proactive activity.
  • Contribute to the development of the wider HR approach in support of the global business operation.
  • Oversee the recruitment process for all roles, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the monthly executive report to CEO on HR metrics and trends, highlighting insights on areas such as employee turnover, reward and recognition, and emerging areas for focus.
  • Complete any other ad-hoc projects requested by the VP Group HR.

Profile

  • CIPD qualified or Degree level in Human Resource Management.
  • Previous line management experience in a generalist HR team.
  • Strong operational HR knowledge and understanding of HR best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a diverse workload.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and an awareness of the European landscape
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
