Our client, a growing Engineering company based in Fife, is on the lookout for a Project Engineer to lead their Projects Department.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all projects are executed efficiently, from initiation through to closure. You will be responsible for both the commercial and technical aspects of these projects and will act as the main point of contact for high-profile customers.
- Proven experience in Project/Programme Management within a Mechanical engineering context.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of related engineering drawings and manuals.
- Capability to read, interpret, and visually inspect engineering components effectively.
- Experience in managing project teams, fostering collaboration, and enhancing productivity.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management policies and procedures.
- Experience with CAD software for creating engineering drawings as needed.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor project performance, identify risks, and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Ability to mentor staff and contribute to their professional growth.
- Understanding of industry regulations and health & safety compliance.
