Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer has become available to join a Maritime Industry Specialist located near Dunfermline, Scotland. In this role, you will manage the project departments and team members, acting as the main point of contact for high profile customers whilst leading to meet deadlines. You must possess strong, demonstrable experience in a similar role to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the project department members on a day to day basis.
• Develop and implement project management policies and best practices.
• Monitor project performances and conduct regular projects reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals and technical reports.
• Inspect components and liaise with the wider team to make informed engineering decisions.
• Present to customers and stakeholders.
• Create new engineering drawings when required using CAD software.

Essential:

• Engineering Degree/ background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in Project Engineering/ Management.

Salary:

• 40-50K DOE
