Software Engineer required to join a Dunfermline based company developing control software for some of the world's largest telescopes, particle accelerators, and high energy physics projects. Work with leading scientists and engineers on innovative, real-world applications.

As Software Engineer responsibilities include:

* Design, develop, and maintain software for accelerator facilities* Work with the EPICS toolkit in a Linux environment* Develop software in C++, C, or Python* Collaborate with world-class researchers and engineers* Travel to client facilities in the UK, Europe, and the USA

What You'll Need:

* A degree in science, engineering, or a related field (Masters/PhD a plus!)* 2 years of experience in scientific/technical software development* Strong coding skills in C++, C, or Python (Linux experience required)* Passion for physics, astronomy, or engineering* Bonus points for experience with real-time software, hardware interaction, or control systems
