Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced SMAW/Stick Welder for bridge work in Fife & Dundee.
The role involves burning out steelworks and welding prefabricated steel repairs on bridges.
Applicants must be competent in stick welding, 6mm fillet weld, and hold an SVQ/NVQ or CSCS card for welding.
The position requires a mixture of night and day shifts, with a competitive hourly rate and enhanced rates for night shifts.
This initial 6-week contract has the potential to extend due to the client's increasing workload.

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced SMAW/ Stick Welder for bridge work in Fife & Dundee.

The role will involve:burning out steelworks and welding prefabricated steel repairs in place on bridges

Applicant will be competent in stick weld, 6mm fillet weld, and have an SVQ/NVQ or CSCS card for welding

Start date:ASAP

This role requires a mixture of nightshifts and day shifts (mostly nightshifts), between the bridges

Competitive hourly rate/ enhanced rates available for night shift.

This contract is initially for 6 weeks howeverdue to the clients increasing work load the position has potential to become longer term for the right candidate
