A global defence contractor based in Rosyth, Fife, Scotland are seeking a number of Welders or Fabricators for immediate starts to work on the marine vessel build. This is a multi-year project with both permanent and contract labour required for the next 5 years. Pay rate is £24.47 per hour Umbrella. PAYE is also available on £19.35 per hour + holiday. [Or if opting out of holiday PAYE is £21.69]. Plus £45 per day for travel and accommodation allowance if outside of area. Overtime (above 37 hours per week) is readily available and paid at time & half (1.5x basic rate). We already have contractors on site who are travelling from out of area, so there is good knowledge and availability of local accommodation. [NB. Permanent staff positions are also available for local candidates salary £35,781 - £36,231 + Overtime + Benefits] We are also looking for Slingers to work an initial 12 week contract, with good potential for extension.
