Your new role

As an Electrical Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, simulating, testing, and maintaining automated systems and machinery. This role involves travel to various sites worldwide, including attendance at exhibitions and trade shows. You will support the company's core values and culture, promoting continuous improvement and developing solutions for end products and services. Your duties will include creating detailed specifications and design documents, diagnosing and debugging electrical and automation systems, and providing technical support within a production environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need a university degree in electrical or automation engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience. Proven ability at designing control systems, including 400Vac and 24Vdc systems, is essential. You should have a strong theoretical foundation in electrical and automation engineering, along with practical experience in industrial or mobile electrical systems. A full driving licence with access to your own car and business insurance is required. Desirable criteria include experience with mobile machinery drive train systems, communication protocols (CAN/Modbus/Profibus), and control software (Codesys). Experience in the crushing and screening industry and proficiency in EPLAN/E3 schematic design and wiring are also advantageous.
