Your new role
As a Production/Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our design and production processes. You will be responsible for developing detailed drawings and 3D models from the concept stage through to production, ensuring all designs meet VCA standards. Your role will involve creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), working closely with production staff to ensure they fully understand drawings and build instructions, and solving any problems that arise to ensure issues are resolved back to their root cause. Additionally, you will coordinate fabrication kits from third-party suppliers, source specialised parts, and identify cost-effective solutions. You will also spearhead improvement projects within the build process to enhance production efficiencies.

Excellent IT skills and analytical and problem-solving abilities are also crucial. Experience with MRP software (such as 123 Insight), PDM or Pulse, and knowledge of VCA standards will be advantageous.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including additional leave, a company pension, on-site parking, and a referral programme. You will work Monday to Friday in a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career with a company that values innovation and excellence.
