Are you an Engineer with CAD experience, looking to take the next step in your career with a market leading company that offers a clear progression pathway and the opportunity to train and develop your skills in Holland?

The company is the longest-established manufacturer of commercial trailers in the UK and Ireland, specialising in products like ejector and tipping trailers. They are dedicated to delivering industry-leading solutions to their customers.

In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for operating and developing programs for new assemblies using their internal software, specifically for robotic welding machinery. Additionally, the position requires significant hands-on engagement on the factory floor, where you will collaborate with operators during product builds to enhance your understanding of the product range.

This role is ideal for an engineer with design experience who is looking to transition into a new industry. The company offers an excellent work-life balance, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and an early finish on Fridays.

The Role:

  • Develop programs for new assemblies using CAD software
  • Finding and fixing faults Involved in testing of new products
  • Assisting operators on the factory floor with hands-on support during builds
  • Analysing current programmes to detect and resolve bugs, while also calculating cycle times for optimisation
  • Monday to Thursday (7:00am - 4:00pm) Friday (7:00am - 2:00pm)

The Person:

  • Previous CAD experience
  • Qualification in mechanical / electrical engineering
  • Welding experience would be desirable - Training opportunities in Holland
