Based in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, this company prides itself on controlling the quality of its equipment by designing and manufacturing internal component parts in-house.
Your new role as a Technical & Design Engineer (Junior - Intermediate Level) will involve fully engaging in the design and manufacturing process using CAD Software and following ISO 9001 standards. You will assist with the development and improvement of current and new product lines, create 3D drawings to meet specific customer needs, update Bill of Materials, complete all associated technical documentation including manuals, and follow methods developed to bring products from concept through to production and launch. You will also be involved in specific project work and assist with the needs of the department as required.
What you'll need to succeed is experience in the use of CAD Software and working knowledge of Solid Works software, technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, an understanding of design calculations and machine tolerances, and excellent computer skills. You should be highly organised and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
