Overview:
Appoint Healthcare is proud to partner with a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We are looking for an experienced RMN or RNLD at Senior Nurse, Deputy Ward Manager, or Ward Manager level, who is looking to take the next step in their career or seeking a new opportunity.

This role is based in a specialist mental health rehabilitation unit for men aged 18+, focused on recovery and individualised care. The unit employs least restrictive practices, actively involving Service Users in their treatment plans to support their recovery. The service is located near Tadworth, Surrey and provides a relaxed, therapeutic environment away from triggers that may lead to risk behaviours.

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN or RNLD trained )
  • NMC registration
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the nursing team to provide high-quality care to male patients aged 18+ in rehabilitation.
  • Supervise staff, support recovery, and ensure effective healthcare delivery.
  • Manage on-call services, oversee ward budgets, and promote teamwork.
  • Provide clinical leadership and maintain high care standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Clinical Governance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Guide and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Serve as an expert resource and key member of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Take charge of the ward to ensure smooth operations and quality care.
