3.5 Tonne Driver who has excellent time-management, customer service and communication skills is required to drive and operate a specialist vacuum tanker to and from a number of sites in and around London and the Home Counties.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
Previous industry experience would be great. But if not, full training will be provided. However, you will need experience driving 3.5T vehicles.
SALARY: £30,000 per annum (reviewed after 3 months)
LOCATION: Great Dunmow, Essex
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
PLEASE NOTE: You will need a full driving license and your own vehicle to get to and from the site to pick up the tanker.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a 3.5 Tonne Driver who has excellent time-management, customer service and communication skills.
Working as the 3.5 Tonne Driver you will use of specialist vacuum tanker to empty waste holding tanks, welfare units, chemical toilets and water tanks across London and the Home Counties. No previous experience in using a vacuum tanker is required as the company will provide additional training.
As the 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need a good level of fitness and be able to complete manual handling tasks.

DUTIES
Your duties as the 3.5 Tonne Driver include:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5 Tonne vehicle equipped with a vacuum tanker system (additional training provided)
- Empty waste holding tanks, welfare units, chemical toilets, and water tanks at customer sites
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including waste volumes and customer information
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working order
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Valid UK Driving Licence (category C1) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, preferably within the waste management or similar industry
- Excellent driving and manoeuvring skills, particularly in confined spaces
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy equipment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Experience with operating vacuum tanker systems (desirable but not essential)
- Experience with towing trailers (desirable but not essential)
- 7.5T licence (desirable but not essential)
