Are you a talented analyst with the ability to develop and maintain financial information? Are you comfortable dealing with large data sets and extracting key business insights?

The ideal person will be a strong and talented financial analyst with an Accounting/Finance background or numerate degree and relevant experience, with a knowledge of data management, modelling and reporting routines. You’ll ideally be studying towards or recently qualified in ACCA or CIMA.

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide timely financial analysis and reporting activities to enable fully informed business decision making.

You will lead the FP&A function in continually improving processes, systems and controls to help facilitate the profitable growth of the business. A wonderful opportunity for a highly numerate individual with the right aptitudes and motivation.

The main purpose of the role:

  • Support the maintenance, development, and enhancement of key weekly reporting.
  • Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly profitability and decision-making MI across all segments
  • Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, converting business requirements into user friendly reports to uncover actionable insights.
  • Produce ad Hoc analyses, both self-driven and business requested

You will be able to utilise the database to maintain and enhance business reporting modules. You will be comfortable clearly and concisely generating commercial value using a variety of reporting tools.

  • Strong IT skills - a knowledge of coding languages inc. SQL and VBA.
  • Expert level MS-Excel knowledge.
  • An appetite to explore new technologies and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • An ability to extract, analyse and report data efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence colleagues across departments.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
