Are you an experienced Customer Services Manager/Payments Manager who would like to take up a new challenge in an exciting industry? Are you in a position to take up a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave?

Transparent is proud to support one of our longstanding clients in the recruitment of a Payments Manager. Due to their current Payments Manager going on maternity leave, they now require someone to step in to oversee the processing of the daily payouts and assist customers with payout credits/queries.

This will be working within a fast-paced team and will require adaptability and flexibility. Responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

Operational Management & Payout Process

- Oversee the end-to-end payout process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

- Review and validate reports before sharing with the Finance Team

- Monitor and assess pending and new payouts on a daily basis

- Approve and verify manual payment uploads when required

- Manage the resolution of operational outages

Team Leadership

- Lead and manage a team of 6, including workload distribution and task assignment

- Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings to support individual team members

- Provide training, mentorship and guidance to the Payout Team

Customer Service Oversight

- Handling payout-related queries from team members and other departments

- Ensuring daily targets are met through regular monitoring and performance checks

- Respond to enquiries from customers, banking partners and internal stakeholders

Partner Relationships

- Represent the company in meetings with banking partners to maintain strong working relationships

Process Optimisation and Project Management

- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

- Lead projects to onboard new payment providers and optimise operational worklflows

The Person:

  • Experience with cross-boarder payments
  • Proven team management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Comfortable using multiple systems
  • High level of customer service
