Description

Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a passion for driving efficiencies and leading teams? Client based near Stansted, Essex is seeking a proactive and solution-focused individual to oversee their Operations function. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced business, ensuring the timely delivery of stock items to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team, including Valet and Workshop Team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain communication with directors and staff to align operations with business goals.
  • Uphold required standards in machinery repair, maintenance, and presentation.
  • Oversee stock processing, including prioritising workloads, parts ordering.
  • Oversee logistics, including the collection and delivery of stock.
  • Ensure H&S compliance with safety protocols, including PPE provision and regular maintenance checks.
  • Drive cost efficiencies and continuous improvements within the Operations Department.
  • Support the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and after sales processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor and enhance team performance through training and development.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively.
  • Previous hands-on experience and interest with machinery and mechanics is a benefit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proactive, solution-driven, and flexible to adapt to business needs.
