We are currently working with a manufacturing company in Essex who are looking to hire a Technical Salesperson.

Our client is a leading supplier of electronic products for a wide range of sectors, and they are looking to appoint a new Technical Salesperson to support with their continued growth.

The successful appointee will be working within a small, but well-established and long serving team, who will offer their expert support and training to ensure you are able to achieve your very best within the role. This has the potential to include international visits to manufacturing sites to best understand their products and service offering. 

This is a full-time permanent position easily commutable from Braintree, Witham, Colchester, Chelmsford and surrounding areas. 

Responsibilities:

  • identifying and establishing new business
  • giving demonstrations, training and presentations to help clients discover and understand products/services
  • providing pre-sales and post-sales support
  • reviewing cost and sales performance
  • attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • ensuring that sales targets are met

Skills & Experience required:

  • Technical background (electronics, electrical or other engineering discipline preferred)
  • Commerical awareness and strong sales aptitude 
  • Practical experience in a similar role desirable
  • Willing to travel internationally when required
