An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client in York. The company are a main contractor who interior fit out projects particularly in the retail sector. Working in a professional but fun environment, the suitable person can expect the opportunity to progress their career, especially as the company is well know for its training support and investment they put into their people.
In this role you will be working on a fast moving account supporting the shopfitting works for a leading supermarket chain.
Skills and Attributes:
- Either a Graduate or Undergraduate QS or having completed/completing or willing to undertake a ONC/HNC in Construction and Built Environment
- Ideally, with previous experience of working for a main contractor in an Assistant/Trainee QS role
- Strong communication skills
- Commercial acumen
- Full UK driving licence
