Our client in Scotland is looking for Environmental Health Officers (EHO) for an initial 4-month contract.
The hourly rate ranges from £40 to £50 depending on experience.
The role involves responding to complaints about statutory nuisances such as noise, smoke, drainage, odour, and waste/flytipping.
Candidates must hold a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health, be registered with EHORB or REHIS, and have previous enforcement experience.
Part-time and full-time options are available with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Ourclient in Scotland is seekingEnvironmental Health Officers (EHO) on an initial 4-monthcontract.

Rate: 40 - 50 per hour (DOE)

The nature of the work will be predominately responding to complaints in relation to statutory nuisances such as; Noise, Smoke, Drainage, Odour, and waste/flytipping. In addition, you will also review planning applications relating to noise and acoustics andwork with businesses regarding their licences for commercial use.

Part time or full time is on offer with hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications/Experience

Hold a BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in Environmental Health
Registered with EHORB / REHIS
Previous experienceundertaking enforcement action, and working with the public/residents
Experience working in a local authority setting
