Winder – dunstable – Bedfordshire – Shift pattern

Are you ready to embark on a dynamic career in the world of electrical engineering? We are seeking motivated an individual to join our client’s team in Dunstable, Bedfordshire as a Trainee Winder.

What You Will Do:

As a Winder, you will be working on a variety of tasks and projects. Your responsibilities will include:

·        Jointing of wet wound motors up to 11kv

·        Wet Wound Winding

·        Windings Tie-In

·        Short Wind Techniques (Basket Winding)

·        Jointing Techniques

·        Moulded Joints

·        Perform essential tests on wound stators and connected stators up to 33kv to ensure safety and functionality.

·        Contribute to the production of terminal gland mouldings.

·        Prioritise Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance, ensuring our work meets regulatory standards.

·        Support their commitment to cleanliness through regular 5S duties.

You should possess:

·        Precise work is essential in the electrical engineering field.

·        Drive and enthusiasm to learn and grow in your role.

·        Collaborate effectively with the team and other stakeholders.

·        Prior knowledge of electrical safety is a plus.

·        Electrical or Mechanical NVQ Qualification (Desirable).
