We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various fitting techniques and be adept at interpreting schematics. This role requires hands-on experience with hand tools and the ability to fabricate and build components as per specifications. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all fittings are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical schematics and drawings.
- Utilise hand tools effectively for various fitting tasks, including but not limited to painting, masonry, plastering, and electrical work.
- Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy in all builds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of fittings to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
- Assist in plumbing tasks as required, demonstrating versatility across multiple disciplines.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a relevant industry.
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to perform basic electrical tasks is preferred.
- Experience in masonry and plastering will be considered a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
