Day to Day Duties
- Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
- Hold a UK C+E License
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a C+E vehicles
- No more than 6 points and no major endorsement codes
- Have an in date UK CPC and Digi card
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
