We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for one the region’s leading wedding and events caterers and be part of a small, friendly teak delivering high quality catering for weddings, private parties, charity dinners, cooperate events and Christmas Parties.

The Role

  • Assist in preparing and delivering exceptional catering for events Herts, Beds and Bucks
  • Work as part of a team or lead on-site during busy wedding and event seasons
  • Help develop menus using fresh, high quality ingredients
  • Help develop seasonal menus
  • Work from our clients approved kitchen during the week and at various venues across the weekends
  • Prepare tasting menus for potential clients
  • Follow strict health and hygiene practices
  • Ensure guest dietary and allergy requirements are met
  • Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head chef

The Ideal Candidate

  • CDP or Sous Chef looking for a new challenge
  • Experience in fresh, high volume catering
  • A flexible, hands on approach
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car - some of the venues are remote
