A leading ground works subcontractor in Dunstable, Bedfordshire is offering an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team.

They have established themselves as the preferred choice for numerous high-profile clients, gaining recognition for excellence in both commercial and residential ground works.

Turnover has now hit £40m, and this growing subcontractor can offer fast progression for the right person.

The role Health & Safety Advisor / Health & Safety Manager

You will be largely site based – sites tend to by 1.5 hours from their office in Dunstable, covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Buckinghamshire.

There is also some flexibility for remote working

Your role will involve:

• Health & Safety Site audits
• Delivery of in-house training.
• Liaising with the Site Manager to assist with any H & S needs.

Diverse projects ranging from £500k to £15m in commercial and residential ground works, as well as £250k to £1.5m in 278 works.

The right person.

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• 2 years plus experience working in an Health & Safety role for a construction or civil engineering company
• You will ideally have experience in delivering on site / in-house training.
