We are working with one of the UK's leading pet businesses, in search of a highly motivated and skilled Goods Planner to join their growing and very successful team.

As a Goods Planner, you will ensure availability of finished goods stock for sale to our customers through D2C and B2B channels. In short, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and place across the business.

What you'll need to deliver:

Review and plan to identify the correct volume and delivery date for finished goods orders, delivering stock within time and budget.

  • Communicate effectively with manufacturers to notify them of any changes to delivery/stock availability requirements (e.g. from increased demand).
  • Communicate effectively with the other planners to ensure they are aware of changing requirements.
  • Update MRP with anything related to PO raising and management.
  • Work alongside the Procurement team to manage manufacturer relationships and ensure use of up-to-date purchasing variables.
  • Create new SKU codes and barcodes and support the successful delivery of NPI and EPD, as well as the management of delisting stock.

This is a varied role that will require very strong MS Excel skills and a high degree of accuracy and communication.
