MANE have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator to join a leading Aerospace company, in the Dunstable area. This role offers a 4 day working week, with additional company benefits as part of the package.

PLEASE NOTE: Training for this position will be taking place on day shifts (up to 3 months), THEN switch to late shift from there on.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain approval stamps for Operator verification.
  • Assist in the implementation of new techniques and methods to enhance work processes when possible.
  • Produce finished ducting components that meet customer specifications using various metals and hand skills (e.g., stainless steel, titanium, Inconel).
  • Ensure general housekeeping and tidiness are maintained in the shop.
  • Propose ideas to improve production efficiency and reduce costs where feasible.
  • Be knowledgeable of all relevant AWPS and operating procedures related to the tasks described above.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company's Health and Safety and Fire policies, and attend mandatory updates as needed.
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards work and teamwork.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow verbal or written instructions.
  • Motivated by achieving personal and team goals.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with good PC proficiency and organizational abilities.
