The Role:

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This key role will involve working on both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of equipment across our high-tech site.

As part of a double day shift, you will be instrumental in maintaining our advanced machinery and addressing breakdowns, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and supporting the implementation of new equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems.

Troubleshoot and repair faults to ensure minimal downtime.

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery.

Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.

Work collaboratively with other engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, adhering to site protocols and procedures.

Assist with continuous improvement projects and the introduction of new technology.

Skills & Experience:

Multi-skilled (Electrical & Mechanical) engineering background

Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and control systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Health & safety awareness and adherence to regulations
