The Company:

A long standing supplier of products to major UK Supermarkets are currently looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their growing team and company. With consistent investment being put into the business in the last few years being put into new machinery and improving processes, this is a fantastic time to join a company that is really on the up and looking to invest further next year too.

With an order book that is continuing to grow, there is scope within the business for technical progression, allowing you to develop expertise on machinery and giving you the freedom to create improvement projects to increase reliability of the machines they have on site.

The Role:

The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

  • Reactive and Planned Maintenance on all Production Machinery
  • Electrical Maintenance, Fault Finding and Reading Diagrams
  • Working on Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Three Phase Motors, Invertors
  • Mechanically Fault Finding, Stripping and Rebuilding as well as swapping out like for like
  • Working on Bearings, Pneumatics, Belts, Chains, Pulleys, Rollers, Gearboxes, Shafts
  • Coming up with Ideas for improvement projects and bringing these to the Lead Engineer

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have the following:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer working on Machinery
  • Be confident working Electrically and Mechanically
  • Be able to work well within a small tight knit team that work together to solve problems
  • Be able to work safely Electrically, ensuring any safety procedures are followed
