Then look no further…Contract SupervisorSalary - £32,315 - £38,018 per annum (plus benefits)Hours - 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pmLocation Postcode - LU6 1NEAs a Contract Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will work under the direction of the Manager for the planning, control and supervision of staff and resources to maintain the collection of refuse, recycling and street cleansing throughout the district.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).Our promise to you- 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life Insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training/progression- Recognition- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors ServiceWhat will you be doing?- Plan and organise daily tasks, arranging crew deployment, and allocating vehicles, plant and materials- Prepare and record resource schedules for all work programmes ensuring adequate labour, vehicles, plant and materials are available to meet contract schedules- Set output targets for all crews and monitor performance and standards- Ensure that all staff accurately complete all relevant documentation- Ensure that wheel torque and vehicle cleaning is being carried out weekly- Ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities under the H&S at Work Act and all other work-related legislation- Carry out Health & Safety monitoring for all crews- Maintain all records and systems for the effective operation of the contract- Maintain high standards of contractor/client liaison- Manage employee attendance, staff grievances, misconduct and discipline- Maintain correct supervision and conformance across contract in liaison with another SupervisorWhat are we looking for?- Previous experience in a similar roleAbout UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation’s leading waste and resource management companies.
