The Company
A leading engineering company is looking for a Production Team Leader to join the team.The Production Team Leader is responsible for managing and coordinating the assembly of products in alignment with the production plan. This role involves supervising and supporting a team of Production Operators to ensure performance targets are met while actively participating in the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a production team of operators.
- Ensure the team meets productivity and performance targets.
- Provide training and guidance to operators to achieve current and future objectives.
- Assemble products following work instructions, production orders, and technical drawings.
- Perform packing and labelling of products.
- Conduct in-line product quality checks, including necessary tests, to maintain quality standards.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.
- Ensure the workplace remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety policies.
- Use systems such as SAP and WMS to maintain accurate records of production output and inventory receipts.
- Report production delays or issues and work collaboratively with the Demand Planner to adjust plans.

Working hours: 07:30- 16:00 but can be flexible with 08:00- 16:30, 07:00- 16:00.

Key Skills & Qualifications
At least a year's experience in a production or manufacturing role
Experience supervising a small team would be beneficial
IT literate with familiarity in MS Office and systems such as SAP/ERP systems
Strong communication skills
The ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous

The salary offered for this position is 25,00- 28,000 to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
