Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our client's team in Dunstable. This role involves shunting trailers efficiently and safely within the site to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving and positioning trailers within the depot.
- Ensuring all movements are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Working closely with warehouse and transport teams to maintain an efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Previous experience as a Shunter Driver.
- A valid CPC and Tachograph card.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
