Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Transport Planner to join our client’s successful team.

The role:

  • Optimize routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Plan and coordinate movement within our fleet
  • Day to day management of drivers, rota, including holidays, sickness management
  • Work with subcontractors to supplement own fleet and meet customers’ requirements
  • Monitor vehicle performance, strong focus on H&S, compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication at all levels

What we would like from you:

  • Previous experience as Transport planner for Heavy Goods,
  • Experience using Excel and cloud-based documents
  • Working knowledge of WTD, Road Transport regulations, FORS
  • Geographical knowledge of the UK road network
  • CPC qualification preferable
  • Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply Company Values and Policies
  • Full UK driving Licence (you may need to attend client visits)
