Overview:

LHH is working with a reputable Durham based firm to find an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team. In this position, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation and providing valuable financial insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a client portfolio, ensuring their financial and accounting needs are effectively managed.
  • Prepare and review detailed financial reports and statements.
  • Assist clients with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on tax strategy and business-related tax concerns.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff, offering support and development opportunities.
  • Engage in business development activities to expand the client base.
  • Continuously improve professional knowledge through ongoing learning and development.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified.
  • Full clean drivers licence.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios effectively.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
