Page Personnel are working with a well established Logistics business based in Durham, due to growth within the team, they have a new, permanent Finance Assistant position available and can offer full AAT study support within this opportunity. Our client are looking for a diligent and experienced candidate to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

Description

  • Processing invoices and bank reconciliations.
  • Using MS Excel on a daily basis and assisting with reporting and analysis.
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Contributing to the development of financial procedures and policies.
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
  • Assisting with month end duties as and when required.
  • Working with the team to streamline financial processes.

Profile

  • A degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

Salary up to 28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience + permanent position + full AAT study support + Hybrid working arrangement can be offered + 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) + excellent staff benefits package.
