Our client are looking for additional mechanical and electrical commissioning engineers with strong experience working on MEICA projects to join our team, working specifically on projects for Northumbrian Water.
Do you have experience of installation & commissioning either mechanical and/or electrical assets?
Have experience of working to mechanical and/or electrical isolation procedures?
Have you got experience of mechanical or electrical commissioning within the utility and water sectors and commercial building sectors with a proven record with commissioning process?
The role involves working on various mechanical and electrical projects within water & wastewater treatment plants, flood defence along with design and build projects for the Northumbrian Water Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commissioning services including full documentation, carrying out commissioning activities and manage supplier / subcontractor commissioning.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Testing, String Testing where applicable and support project teams through the project to completion
- Be involved in supporting the design team for new and refurbishment works for water & wastewater projects
- Involvement in the installation and commissioning of projects from planning, design to conception; integrating with the client collaboratively
- Work within a team of mechanical, electrical and process commissioning engineers to develop best practice, and a strong health & safety environment
What we'd like from you:
- Experience of installation & commissioning in either the utilities, industrial or commercial building sectors
- Experience of working to electrical and mechanical procedures, including following electrical and mechanical permit procedures
- Experience with planning of the commissioning processes
- Good fault-finding skills with a meticulous health and safety approach is a core requirement for the role
- Working to safe systems of work including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
