Location: DurhamRemuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + commissionBenefits: Comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Internal Sales & Estimating Manager - Doorsets & Hardware will involve:
- Internal Sales & Estimating Manager position selling a manufactured range of doorsets, screens and ironmongery
- Selling into to architects, main contractors and sub-contractors
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities via networking
- Order sizes can range between £30,000 - £1m
- Responsible for coaching and developing a team of 7 sales estimators & project schedulers
- Manage the teams workflow from enquiry stage through to handover to the manufacturing team, ensuring projects are delivered on time
- Build and implement new strategies in order to enhance current processes
The ideal applicant will be a Internal Sales & Estimating Manager - Doorsets & Hardware with:
- Must have at least 2 + years of experience coaching & developing a team
- Must have experience within the construction industry, ideally for a manufacturer
- Ideally will have some project management experience
- Any experience with doorsets, screens or ironmongery highly beneficial
- Commercially minded with a strong business acumen
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Hungry, intelligent and humble
