Randstad is excited to partner with Durham's Families First service to recruit a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for the Shildon & Chilton area.
Our mission is to provide exceptional support to families, helping them to thrive and overcome challenges.

Job Description:

Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting families?
In this role, you will oversee the delivery of services, manage a dedicated team of professionals, and ensure that families receive the support they need to improve their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the Families First team in Shildon & Chilton, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes to ensure that the needs of families are accurately identified and met.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and deliver effective support.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, families, and professionals.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and family services.
