Employee Communications Consultant
Full Time / Temporary for 3 months minimum

Hybrid role - Office based in Pity Me (Ideally you will live in NE area)
Some travelling to other sites may be required so driving licence essential.
19.06 - 22.43 per hour depending on experience
To support the delivery of NWG's vision and business plan objectives through delivery of a range of communications channels, content and events to engage and inspire our people.
This role will include managing a wide range of traditional and digital channels and supporting the delivery of employee events. A key part will be to be the lead on cross-company projects providing communications advice and support to key stakeholders and project teams and delivering key outputs to time and on budget. It also involves creating an effective network across the business to be able to source and share interesting and engaging news and information to populate our channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver communications that meet the needs of the business and inspires, engages and energises all NWG employees to do their job to the best of their abilities
- Create written and digital communications which embed and sustain our values and strategic priorities with our employees
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts across the business to ensure a regular flow of news and stories from around the business
- Create / write and edit content for all employee communications channels including Cascade, H2info, email and NWG News
Outputs
- Communication activities delivered according to the employee communications strategy and associated plans
- Communications materials drafted and delivered as briefed
- Organise and attend internal meetings to advise on communications, as required
- Excellent relationships with key contacts in all departments
