We are working with a well-established regional Electrical contractor specialising in delivering high-quality electrical solutions across commercial, education, and other key sectors. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, we are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Estimator to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate electrical estimates.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies by sourcing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and designers, to deliver comprehensive bid proposals.
- Assist with value engineering initiatives to optimize project delivery while maintaining quality.
- Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, costs, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial, education, or similar sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving license.
