Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical aspects of various projects, ensuring all work aligns with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to develop project timelines and detailed plans.
- Manage and support a team of electricians, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment essential for electrical tasks.
- Track project progress, monitor budgets, and manage costs related to electrical work.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify quality and safety compliance.
- Resolve technical issues efficiently and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
- Stay informed on industry standards and best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in electrical engineering or relevant field (degree preferred).
- Proven track record in electrical project management, particularly within construction or refurbishment.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Skilled at prioritizing tasks in fast-paced settings.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Relevant certifications (such as CMIOSH, SMSTS) and experience with electronic estimating systems are beneficial.
