Key Duties:
System Design and Architecture:
- Contribute to the overall system architecture of semiconductor equipment.
- Design and develop electrical systems for new products, considering performance, reliability, and scalability.
Circuit Design and Analysis:
- Design electronic circuits for various subsystems of semiconductor equipment.
- Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
Interface Design:
- Design interfaces for communication between different components and subsystems within the semiconductor equipment.
- Design cabling between components and subsystems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Testing and Validation:
- Develop test plans and procedures for validating the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with test engineers to conduct experiments and troubleshoot issues.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that electrical designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Work with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary certifications for semiconductor equipment.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists, to integrate electrical systems into a cohesive product.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address challenges and find solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in existing designs and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in semiconductor manufacturing and integrate relevant innovations into product development.
Documentation:
- Create detailed documentation for electrical designs, including schematics, specifications, and test reports.
- Maintain accurate records to facilitate knowledge transfer and future modifications.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide support for field issues and assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical-related problems in semiconductor equipment.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to address customer inquiries and concerns.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years as a electronics engineer preferably in capital equipment development industry (Semiconductors, Medical, Large printers etc.)
- Analog and Digital Circuit Design.
- Control Systems and Algorithms.
- Electrical Safety Standards.

- Testing and Validation Methods.
