Are you Hydrogeologist or similar looking to join an established SME, overseeing a variety of small and large projects around the UK, with further pay and role progression opportunities?

This company have been established for over three decades, supply into a range of construction projects from bridges in central London to train tunnels in south Wales. Due to the constant increase of clients demanding their services, they are looking to grow the team once more and hire another likeminded specialist.

This role will see the successful candidate perform a wide variety of duties, ultimately overseeing projects from end to end, liaising and supporting clients whenever possible. From visiting sites and completing surveys to designing temporary control and management systems, this role will require excellent industry knowledge and capability.

The Role:

  • Liaise and support clients with complex water management problems
  • Reviewing site investigation data to develop conceptual models, summarising key hydrogeological problems
  • Preparing licence and permit applications relating to water, liaising with key environmental regulators e.g. EA and SEPA
  • Write detailed reports e.g. Temporary Works Water Management Strategy and Hydrogeological Impact Appraisals
  • Developing Pumping Test Designs and undertaking analysis
  • Undertaking Groundwater and Surface Water modelling
  • Design of Temporary Works Groundwater Control Systems and Temporary Surface Water Management Systems
  • Undertaking Water Features Surveys and Field Pumping Tests

The Person:

  • Proven experience within the construction industry
  • Understanding of Environmental Legislation relating to Water Management
