The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing quote follow-ups, preparing precise and competitive quotes using Bluebeam, designing electrical systems, and utilising their electrical expertise to deliver complete solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

Follow up on prepared quotes to ensure timely client responses and engagement.
Track and manage the status of quotes, addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
Use Bluebeam software to prepare detailed and accurate quotes.
Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to estimate time, cost, materials, and labour.
Design electrical systems according to client requirements and industry standards.
Provide technical support and consultation to offer efficient, cost-effective solutions.
Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent service.
Assist clients in understanding the scope of work, pricing, and project timelines.
Coordinate with the sales team to meet client needs and ensure seamless project handoff.
Work with the engineering team to confirm design feasibility and compliance with technical standards.

Key Attributes

Background in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in sales estimating, ideally within the electrical industry.
Skilled in using Bluebeam/Countfire software for quote preparation and design.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction techniques.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
High attention to detail and accuracy in estimate preparation.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
