Role Overview:

?? As a Student Lettings Administrator, you will build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors, delivering exceptional experiences for all parties. You'll handle inquiries, advertise properties, conduct viewings, and assist with marketing efforts.

Experience in the lettings or property industry is advantageous but not required. If you are seeking a new opportunity in this sector or are an aspiring candidate looking to kick-start your career in a new industry, we encourage you to apply! Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in the role.

  • Salary: £23,800, plus bonus scheme.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM and 26 Saturdays per year, 10am till 3pm - office based!
  • Location: Office-based in Durham City Centre - public parking available at a charge, close to public transport links.
  • Benefits: Competitive holiday entitlement, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
  • Travel Requirement: Due to the need for travel between sites in the North East, a valid UK driving licence is essential.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain great relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors
  • Ensure exceptional Tenant and Landlord experiences
  • Manage communications via phone, email, Live Chat, and WhatsApp
  • Maintain lettings compliance knowledge and conduct Right to Rent checks
  • Receive and process new inquiries from Tenants and Landlords
  • Advertise properties and proactively contact potential Tenants
  • Register applicants, arrange viewings, and provide feedback to Landlords
  • Negotiate offers between Landlords and Tenants
  • Assist the Asset Management team during the busy changeover period
  • Support marketing events

Essential Skills:

  • ? Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • ? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ? Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • ? Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • ? Full UK driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle (preferred) ??
