Your new companyThis well recognised regional group of companies have a need for an experienced Payroll Manager to look after the Payroll function for 700+ staff across multiple companies.Your new roleThe Payroll Manager is a key member of the Finance Team, with overall responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of all aspects of the Group's weekly and 4-weekly payrolls, as well as ensuring all legislative requirements are complied with. Key Responsibilities

  • Process the complete end to end weekly and 4-weekly payrolls, input and process data accurately and timely, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Calculate additional pay elements or deductions, including holiday entitlements.
  • Oversee pension auto-enrolment, including transferring data to pension providers.
  • Respond to and resolve any pay related queries in a timely manner.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve any discrepancies where required.
  • Provide statutory bodies with all required information (e.g. RTI and EPS) within required time limits.
  • Provide weekly payroll information for management reporting.
  • Reconcile payroll balance sheet codes.
  • Auditing the payroll to make sure it satisfies all government regulations.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Developing and refining payroll procedures.
  • Scan all reports to network.
