We are working with a manufacturing company who are looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset, excellent communication skills and who enjoys chasing down opportunities.
Key Tasks:
- You willIdentify and develop new business opportunities across international markets within a defined sector.
- Communicating withgovernment authorities, design consultants, contractors, OEMs, and clients worldwide.
- Attend and exhibit at international trade shows, client visits, and trade missions (annually)
- Provide technical sales support, guiding clients from initial inquiry to final product selection.
- Manage the sales process from inquiry to quotation, ensuring accurate pricing and margin calculations in multiple currencies.
- Follow up on inquiries, pull together tenders, and generate new leads.
Skills / Experience:
- Previous relevant experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to recognise when to sell versus when to focus on relationship building.
- Highly process-driven, ensuring smooth sales progression from concept to completion.
- Confident decision-making and ability to take initiative.
- The role requires some overseas travel: flexibility for travel when required.
